Be a father

Rulers of the history have left a significant impression on DNA of most of
the fathers to play the role of a giant figure at home who is responsible
to define everything for everyone in the family. Fathers of the history
have transferred this DNA to their generation and therefore we are
witnessing great generation gap since many decades.

Most of the time it is observed that a father is more of a deadee (deadly
evil). Many sons and daughters do respect their father not with love but
through fear. Right from the beginning the personality of daddy is shown as
deadee by himself as well as all other members of the family. Hence right
from the childhood a child is learning that a father is a deadee who has to
be feared only. Mothers play a significant role in making the reality of
deadee in child’s mind and heart.

Fathers have been considered as gurus of “discipline” the stake holders of
discipline who have to pass discipline to the generation. Force and fear
are only two ways through which fathers are passing the commandment of
discipline to the child because they don’t know any other way. No school or
college or university has taught them how to pass discipline to the next
generation because no school, college or university knows how to develop
self-discipline. So fathers have learned it from the impression of DNA
which was historically embedded in every fathers DNA via all those people
who believed that discipline can come only through fear and force is the
only way to instill discipline.

Fathers know forced discipline and the result of this forced discipline is
obvious to the world. Children are more indiscipline rather than in
discipline. Fathers have never known the concept of self-discipline. So it
is time to erase the old DNA impression of forced discipline and create new
impression that love is the only instrument that nurtures self-discipline.
The argument here often comes that without discipline child will go
haywire. Child will be anti-social and so child has to learn discipline. To
learn discipline fear is the only instrument and force is the way through
which fear can be instilled in child’s mind.

But humans have to understand that forced disciplined only brings fear and
fear is the root cause of most of the brutality humans have witnessed since
many centuries. There is a great scope for all the colleges and
universities to create a course for fathers with the following course
content:

- What is the meaning of father?
- What it means to be a father?
- What is the role of a father?
- What are the responsibilities of a father?
- Why you have become a father?
- How a father can help child to be a self-disciplined person?
- How a father can develop, maintain and grow sustainable and loving
relationship with the child?
- How a father can be the best philosopher, friend a guide of a child?
- How a father can be the most favorite person of a child?

Fathers may ponder on the above listed course content and introspect. The
sound energy of the term father start with the letter F (*fa*) and which
ends with the matching sound energy of the word Other (F-Other). So a
father is actually the Favorite Other. He has become one of the medium to
create his own favorite other self and so a child is not just humanly but
divinely favorite other self of father. In the same way for a child father
is the favorite other. Let you become the most favorite person of your
child. Why are you giving a chance to your child to go out and hunt some
other favorite person for him or her? Why not you only become the most
favorite person of your child?

For that you have to unlearn the entire concept which is instilled in your
DNA about forced discipline. Learn that self-discipline flowers where there
is emanation of love and compassion. Hug your child and say your child I
Love You! If you can’t give quantity of time at least give quality time
every day to your child. Even 15 minutes of quality time with your child
will be sufficient. In this 15 minutes just emanate love and compassion
from your entire being. Let your child feel your warmth. In 15 minutes
forget that you are a father just become like a mirror and follow the
actions, gestures, imagination, expressions, intelligences of your child.
Listen to your child without interruption and judgment in next 15 minutes.

This way you will create a miracle you have already created miracle and the
proof is your children. Now it is the time to be the miracle for your
child. Be the most favorite person of your child and your child will mirror
you.
